Fingerprint Time clock complete stand alone. With storage capacity of up to 1.500 two fingerprint patterns, identifies a user in less than 1 second. When more capacity is needed one extended version of the Timeclock allows to store up till 9.000 fingerprint patterns.
The timeclock recorder consists of an optical fingerprint reader, a proximity card readeror a magnetic card reader, keypad 4x4 with a 4 function keys to operate a full programable menu, a graphical display with 128x64 . Connectivity is accomplished with native TCPIP.
Information is always transmitted in real time to the main database, punches and task records are not only transmitted but also indexed in the database , the time clock can be local or in a quite remote location at hundred's of miles . When the server is down and pulling software is not working, the records are stored in the time recorder until communication is reestablished. Clockings are always save.
The K40x punch clock is allocated in a stainless steel case, the appearance of a new machine new for years. It is enough though for industrial environments,where time attendance and production control are needed.

The Time clock operation is fully configurable.
K40x clocking can be configured in the following ways:
Time Attendance Modes:
- Read the finger.
- PIN only.
- Proximity Card punch.
Production Module:
- . With a Single main menu with 8 options.
- . With a default Time Attendance Menu , plus a Tree Production Menu
- . Only Time Attendance operation.
When used with the Software Alfiegest , task control is acomplished by only punching the task changes , so no need to open and close orders or tasks.Time Attendance punches closes automatically any open task
Security modes are normally used for high security buildings, not recommended for time attendance because obviously, punching takes longer .
Factory's configuration of K38x is Time Attendance Mode.
Enrolling new employees is easy and can be done from the computer or directly in the time clock. The Time Clock's responsible has a finger registered as MASTER finger when the finger is placed on the terminal , enroll operation starts automatically , and the Time clock prompts immediately "Enrolling a new User? , keying the employee's code and reading the new finger is all needed to finish the operation
Events can be also informed, keying the code , placing the finger and it's done. The Time clock displays always shows the event description.
K38x is mainly designed for time tracking and Time attendance it is not intended for labour tracking , when job control is needed K40 and K48 are the correct terminals.
